Q&A with Verity Naughton – Award-Winning Casting Director Extraordinaire

Date: TBA

Join us for an exclusive Q&A with Verity Naughton, a leading Casting Director whose work spans film, television and theatre. Verity is a full member of the Casting Directors’ Guild of Great Britain & Ireland, and a founding member of its equality, diversity & inclusion group.

With over 15 years’ experience, she has played a vital role in casting for major feature films—both in lead and associate casting—such as The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Enola Holmes, Peter Pan and Wendy among others.

In theatre, her credits are equally impressive: West End and national tours including Frozen, Mrs Doubtfire The Musical, Sound of Music, Small Island, The Ferryman, and The Hills of California (starring our very own Alfie Jackson) and School of Rock (starring our fabulous Eden Felix as Tomika)

⭐️Her recent accolade-rich 2025 run includes multiple wins at the Casting Directors’ Guild Awards: Best Child Casting for Oliver!, Best Casting in a Commercial for Stingy Ol’ Fella, and Best Casting in Theatre for The Hills of California.⭐️
