Francesca Simons

Francesca trained as an Actor/performer, splitting up her training between a HND in Acting at University Centre Southend, and completing with a BA Hons in Inclusive Performance with Chickenshed Theatre Company.

Francesca has worked professionally since graduating, specifying in Children’s theatre, some of her credits include – Jill in Jack & The Beanstalk Pantomime ( Shooting Star Entertainments), Prince Harry & Good Fairy in Sleeping Beauty Pantomime (OutsideTheBox Productions), Gretel in Gretel&Hansels Camping Adventure, Sam in The Ghost Party (PlayMakeTheatre & ShowUP Productions) Anna in The Ghost Hunt ( ScreamWorks) . To name but a few, Francesca has also worked on film, her debut on screen, was playing ‘Spirit’ in Wendy Morgan’s ‘Mercy’ starring alongside Mark Wingett &Annette Badland, amongst others. She’ll also be appearing in an upcoming short film ‘David & Victoria’ - (Freesprite productions.)

Alongside being Leigh-on-sea’s in-person Assistant Director, Francesca takes care of all of HAYA’s locations behind the scenes, assisting Sarah Hunt in the virtual HAYA office, dealing with admissons, attendance and keeping everyone informed with important HAYA updates.
